Deze werd georganiseerd omdat de nieuwe brandweerkazerne aan de Van Rietlaan officieel werd geopend.<br>Vereniging Oud Linschoten leverde een bijdrage aan de feestelijkheden met een foto-expositie over de Linschoter brandweer. Zelfs berichten uit de krant, uit de 19de eeuw, waren te bewonderen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bij de expositie kon tevens het daar geplaatste condoleanceregister worden ondertekend na het overlijden van de 88-jarige Joop Baars. Deze Linschotenaar was 40 jaar chauffeur\/pompbediende bij de brandweer.
